We have finally reached the end of what seemed to be an eternity for this Holiday season. I realize it is certainly the most busiest time of the year. It is time to get back into a routine and go big for God.
This Sunday was another incredible day at NVMC and here are the highlights:
- Pastor Curtis was back from vacation and praise and worship rocked the house
- several first time visitors... We love visitors
- The 9 am service was strong!!!
- The 11 am service was Strong!!!
- The Word was for all (Including myself) and God challenged us all to "come out of the cave"
- It was refreshing to see people turn loose in the Altar
I am thankful that even in what seems to be difficult times God is still faithful. This past year has been a real challenge for me personally but I stand in amazement how God is always there. I have seen people walk out of the ministry, doubt my leadership, and even said goodbye to some dear friends and even read negative stuff about myself and our church in the newspaper. Yet in all of this, again, God is still moving!
You might not read or hear about it from the news media but you can be assured God is moving at www.nvmc.tv . You can "Come and See" for yourself and ask the countless addicts that have been delivered by God's grace, or perhaps the marriages that have been mended, or perhaps the people who lost hope but found it in Christ Jesus because of NVMC. Regardless of what you think or what you have heard the truth is God is saving, delivering, and restoring countless lives every week at NVMC.
I am thankful that God has trusted us with so many desperate souls and that he has been faithful in reaching them. NVMC is fulfilling it's mandate of "Impacting the heart of the city" one life at a time. It is our time in 2009 and everything is gonna be fine!
I will see you Wednesday night!
